Dawn Crawford is President/CEO for TML Risk Management Pool (The Pool). The Pool is a non-profit, quasi-governmental organization that provides risk management and insurance services to cities and agencies of cities in Tennessee. Our partnership with members includes around 500 local governments. Ms. Crawford is responsible for the overall operations of the company. Organizational elements include finance, information technology, loss control and underwriting. Her experience includes all facets of finance/accounting for The Pool, an understanding of loss control and underwriting responsibilities and related work flows, and managerial duties. She is responsible to the Board of Directors and organizational recommendations such as rates, loss reserves, technology advancements, budgets, financial results, return dividends to members, surplus levels and loss control service programs. Member visits and speaking engagements are included in her responsibilities. Ms. Crawford has been with The Pool since 1988. She firmly believes in The Pool’s mission which includes serving members with absolute integrity.
