Steve Wade is a partner at Browning, Kaleczyc, Berry & Hoven, P.C.(BKBH) where he chairs BKBH’s Governmental Affairs and Energy Practice Groups. He practices in BKBH’s Helena office. Prior to joining BKBH in 1996, Mr.Wade was an attorney at the Montana Department of Environmental Quality. Mr. Wade has a wide ranging practice and works primarily on Municipal Liability and Coverage, Environmental/Energy and Governmental Affairs Matters.
BKBH is General Counsel for the Montana Municipal Interlocal Authority(MMIA) with Mr. Wade being designated primary counsel, in which he advises the MMIA on organizational and operational issues, municipal liability developments, claim evaluations, and manages litigation brought against MMIA member entities. Mr. Wade also represents the MMIA before the Montana Legislature and various state agencies.
Mr. Wade was raised in East Helena, Montana, received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Montana, and his law degree from the University of Montana, School of Law in 1996. He resides in Helena with his wife Jennifer and their four children.
